Play Games with Steam
Steam is the largest gaming platform and works natively on Cyclop OS. It supports Linux-native games and Windows games via Proton.
- Open the Cyclop Menu and search for Steam in the Games category.
- Log in to your Steam account or create one if needed.
- Browse the Steam Store and install any native Linux games.
Enable Steam Play for Windows Games
- In Steam, go to Settings → Steam Play.
- Enable Steam Play for all titles.
- Restart Steam to apply changes.
- Install and launch any Windows game—it will now run with Proton.
Play Games with Lutris
Lutris is a game manager that supports Windows games, GOG, emulators, and more.
- Open the Cyclop Menu and search for Lutris.
- Click on Lutris and go to the Community Installers tab.
- Use the search bar to find your game in the Lutris.net library.
- Click on the game and follow the installation steps.
- Once installed, launch the game from the Lutris home screen.
Install Windows Games on Cyclop OS
Many Windows-only games can run on Cyclop OS with Proton, Lutris, or Wine.
- Use Steam Play / Proton (Recommended for most games).
- For non-Steam games, use Lutris to install Windows-based titles.
- If necessary, install Wine to run standalone Windows games.
