Troubleshooting NVIDIA Drivers

If the NVIDIA X Server Settings app displays an empty window, your drivers might not be activated. Follow these BIOS configuration steps:

  1. Power off your computer and restart it.
  2. Immediately press Esc, Delete, or F12 to enter the BIOS menu.
  3. In the Boot or Security section, disable Secure Boot.
  4. Save changes and exit the BIOS settings.
  5. Restart your computer to apply changes.

AMD Radeon Drivers

If you have a modern AMD Radeon GPU (2013 or newer), Cyclop OS includes pre-installed open-source drivers. These are the AMDGPU and Radeon drivers, ensuring seamless performance without extra setup.

  1. Open Cyclop OS System Settings.
  2. Go to About System and check GPU drivers.
  3. Ensure that the driver is listed as AMDGPU.
  4. If you experience issues, update drivers by running:
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
